Parent Advisory Board
Mission Statement
The mission of the Parent Advisory Board is to enhance the
overall operation of the Talent Search program by facilitating
involvement and advice to the Talent Search Director and Staff. The
Parent Advisory Board, incorporated as a non-profit organization
assists in increasing the level of parental involvement and draw on
community resources to help educate and promote Talent Search
initiatives. The Parent Advisory Board works collaboratively to
provide a compassionate network of support and provide information
to ETS participants, parents and/or guardians including any active
adult or out of school participant.
How to Become a Member
Membership in the ETS Parent Advisory Board is available to all
parents or legal guardians of active Talent Search participants, and
to any active adult or out of school participant who subscribes to
the purpose and mission of the organization. (Article III, 3.2

Generally speaking, callouts for membership are conducted at
regularly scheduled intervals throughout the year. Please contact
the ETS office at 989-2460 for more specific information regarding
membership and schedule of monthly meetings.

Meetings
The ETS Parent Advisory Board convenes monthly, every first
Thursday of the month or as designated. Sub-committee and Executive
Board meetings are scheduled according to need.

Meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month in room SUL
307, Purdue University Calumet from 5:30-7:00 p.m. All parents are
encouraged to attend.
