Educational Talent Search provides a number of special cultural
outings, college tours, and workshops through the summer enrichment
programs.
Gary Southshore Railcats Night
On Friday, May 26, 2006, ETS hosted a cultural outing to
the Gary Southshore Railcats Opening Day Game. This event
provided participants an opportunity to view the promotions
of minor league baseball while raising educational
curiosities and interests in sports related summer reading
selections and in sports related careers.

Spring Break 2006 College Tour Recap
Did you know that the freshman class retention rate at
the University of Kansas is over 80%? How about the fact
that the University of Missouri was the first state
university to be established west of the Mississippi River.
These and other factoids were discussed during the ETS
Spring Break College Tour2006.

Workshop highlights various summer enrichment programs
ETS hosted a workshop for families interested in learning
about the various summer enrichment programs that are
available on Tuesday, February 14 in the Student Union &
Library, room 321. Local agencies, universities, and
colleges have long hosted summer camps focusing on a variety
of subject matter including mathematics and science,
journalism, artistic expression, engineering, etc.
