Biography

Professor Flannery was the Coordinator of the HTM program at Purdue Calumet from 1982 - 1998. He is currently the Department Head for the Behavioral Sciences Department. Professor Flannery started his career by receiving his Class A Commissary School recognition in the U.S. Navy, he then earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Schenectady Community College and a Bachelor's and Master's of Professional Studies from Cornell University. Professor Flannery's areas of teaching specialization are resort management, food and beverage management, and financial analysis and controls. His research area is distressed hotel properties. He is a recipient of the Purdue Outstanding Teacher Award.
