Thomas, a Secondary Education major, scored double
figures six times, including his season high and the team’s best scoring
performance with 31 points against I.U. South Bend during Chicagoland
Collegiate Athletic Conference action. Thomas was the team’s leading scorer
in four games last season for the Peregrines and the team’s leading
rebounder in the same amount of games. He was named to the First Team in
the CCAC. In the CCAC, Thomas averaged 12.9 points per game, 6.4 rebounds
per game (5th best), including 4.7 on the defensive end, which
was 2nd best behind the league’s MVP, and finished among the top
18 in six statistical categories. Overall, Thomas averaged 9.8 points per
game and had the highest field goal made percentage with .554 in 26 games.
In rebounding, Thomas grabbed 144 total rebounds (5.5 per game). He also
dished out 27 assists, blocked 13 shots and had 11 steals.
