Polak, a Mechanical Engineering major,
was the fourth leading scorer on the team last season with 7.4 per game. He
was the top Peregrine 3-point marksman hitting .484, and hit .474 from the
arc during Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference action, fourth best
overall, to earn Honorable Mention status. On offense, Polak was the
Peregrines second leading scorer averaging 14.1 ppg overall, and 13.6 in the
CCAC, 10th best. Polak was the team's high scorer in seven games this past
season, including a three-game stretch when he scored 77 points total (25.5
per game) and hit his season-high mark of 27 points. Polak finished the
season as the leader in free throw shooting percentage, steals and assists.
He shot .711 from the charity stripe, had 60 steals (2.1 per game) and 72
assists (2.5 per game). He averaged 1.4 steals per game in conference play,
7th best. In his first two seasons, Polak as totaled 640 points, 182
rebounds, 130 assists, 96 steals and 21 blocked shots.
