1.1 Leadership System
1.1.a. Administrative Services Leadership System
Administrative Services’ leadership system addresses values,
performance expectations, a focus on customers and other
stakeholders, learning, and innovation.
Administrative Services Senior Leaders* will:

set and communicate directions and seek future
opportunities for Administrative Services, taking into account
all key stakeholders;

communicate and reinforce values, performance
expectations, a focus on customers and other stakeholders,
learning, and innovation;

participate in and use the results of Administrative Services
performance (customer, operations, and financial) reviews
for operations assessment and continuous improvement;

deploy a systematic decision-making approach;

select and develop leaders and managers;
-
evaluate and improve the leadership system by reviewing
Administrative Services' performance results (customer,
operations, and financial) and Administrative Services
employee feedback; and
-
self-examine, receive feedback, and plan for improved performance.
1.2 Responsibility and Citizenship
1.2.a. Administrative Services Societal Responsibilities
Administrative Services will identify key practices, measures, and
targets to ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical
requirements and for risks associated with Administrative
Services products, services, and operations.
Administrative Services anticipates public concerns with current
and future products, services, and operations, and addresses
these concerns in a proactive manner.
1.2.b. Administrative Services Support of Key Communities
Administrative Services, its senior leaders, and its employees will
support and strengthen their key communities.
*Administrative Services senior leaders consist of the Vice Chancellor for
Administrative Services and his/her direct reports. This team of senior leaders
comprises the Quality Leadership Team.
