Pricing Information for the Ctrax service at PUC

Advantages of using Ctrax:

Provides an affordable opportunity for students to access a huge catalog of legal digital music tracks.

Delivers to college students media they care about in a high-quality format.

Offers a secure delivery platform to reduce copyright violations and the developing legal tension between administrations, students and content providers.

Unlimited number of tethered downloads included with the subscription.

You can perform a search by artist, the song title, or the album name. You can also browse the top songs, top albums, a genre, or see songs that have been recently added.

Once you have located a song, you can play a 30 second sample of the track so that you can determine if you want to add the song to a playlist, download the song, or buy the song.

You can create multiple playlists of your choosing to stream songs.

Buy a song/album: You can purchase a track for $0.89 per song or $9.99 per album. Once you buy a song or album, you can transfer the song to any .wma supported portable player or burn it to a CD with Windows Media Player. Users with iPods or portable players with MP3 exclusive compatibility will have to burn the .wma songs to CD first and then rip them.

Minimum system requirements for PC:

128 MB RAM and a Pentium III 650 MHz or Celeron 700 MHz processor

16-bit sound card or better and 16-bit true color video card or better

Internet Explorer version 6

Windows Media Player Version 9

Macromedia Flash Plug-in version 7

Real Player version 10. (For Clabs only Both Mac and PC. )

Optimal experience:

Pentium IV 1000 MHz processor or better

512 MB ram or higher

64-bit soundcard with stereo surround

128-bit true color SVGA video card
