Sarah Knight, BA 2000 (PR)
Education
Biography
Sarah was a staff writer for The Chronicle during her
senior year at Purdue University Calumet and performed volunteer
public relations functions for the Northwest Indiana Habitat for
Humanity. After graduating college, Sarah began her public relations
career working at The Field Museum in Chicago, where she served as a
public relations assistant for two years.
Moving to Indianapolis, Indiana in 2002, she now works for Klipsch
Audio Technologies, a leading global manufacturer of premium audio
products, as a public relations specialist and writer. Touting
Klipsch as her dream job, Sarah uses the skills she acquired from
Purdue University Calumet to produce web site content, execute the
company’s global communications plan and contribute to brand
development. She has even had the chance to meet and interview
various celebrities.
Sarah will always cherish her experiences at Purdue University
Calumet because it’s where she received a great education and met
some of her very best friends, including Jennifer Popagain, Dani
Gomez, Barbara Leslie, Amy Taylor, Jasmina Terzioska and Joseph
Bogs. Because 90 percent of her job at Klipsch involves writing, she
would like to send a special “Thank You!” to Professor Neil Nemeth
for challenging her and helping her develop her writing skills.
